On September 23, 2026, Antonella Pireddu, a researcher at the INAIL DIT Department, presents a paper “Immersive Virtual Reality Training to Enhance Safety and Inclusion in Quarry Operations” at the ISSA Mining Safety Conference 2026, Saskatoon, Canada, discussing the results of the BRiC research project entitled “Virtual Reality Modeling of an Experimental Process-Integrated Occupational Health and Safety Training Project, Referring to the Work Phase of ‘Original Stone Bank Overturning’ and Addressed to Quarry Workers.” carried out in collaboration with LabVR UNISI.
