INAIL Seminar
On September 24, 2025, the seminar “Education and Training Courses on Safety and Health in Quarries, Using Virtual Reality” was held at the Antonio Maglio Auditorium at INAIL headquarters in Rome. The seminar was organized by INAIL’s Department of Technological Innovation and the University of Siena’s LabVR as part of the BRiC ID 43/2022 project. The event presented the results of the project on safety in open-pit quarries, with a specific focus on new virtual reality (VR) training models. Workplace accidents, the new state-regional agreement, the use of VR in training, and safety initiatives in the quarrying sector, including the marble sector, were also discussed. Participants enjoyed an immersive and interactive experience organized by LabVr UNISI.
