The University of Siena has established the Joint Laboratory “V.I.T.A.” composed by LabVR UNISI, Toscana Life Sciences Foundation and the ITS New Technologies Foundation for Life Lab with the aim of developing the research project on the theory and applications of training and lifelong learning based on virtual and augmented reality methodologies applied to the field of life sciences.

The creation of the Joint Laboratory is motivated by the need to analyze, propose and test new methodological paradigms to strengthen and redevelop educational and training activities in the field of life sciences through the use of Industry 4.0 technologies. . With these methodologies it will also be possible to study and monitor the learning process with reference to human-machine interaction.
